Southern Cape Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Potje says the alleged sexual assault took place in an office where the girl and another learner had been called to “help” the deputy principal.
“The other learner left, the suspect closed the doors and allegedly grabbed and whilst restraining her, undressed her pants and fiddled with her private parts”.
The suspect was caught red-handed by the school principal and was arrested on Wednesday (21 August 2013). The suspect is currently in the Knysna Police holding cells and will appear in court tomorrow (Friday 23 August 2013).
